Website Seeks To Answer Existential Query: Where’s Gov. Chris Christie?

Many in New Jersey are upset by Governor Chris Christie‘s decision to remain on his vacation in Orlando, Florida during and in the aftermath of the recent blizzard that left the Northeast buried under a strange and wondrous substance some are calling “snow”. A few of his detractors are choosing to voice this disappointment through the creation of a website -Where’s Chris Christie? – which tracks the Governor as he wears a festive and downright adorable Where’s Waldo?-style hat.

The site focuses on several instances when the Governor was somewhere other than in his home state, mostly while campaigning for fellow Republicans. WheresChristie.com is paid for by a group called the Progressive Change Campaign Committee which states its mission as working to “elect bold progressive candidates to federal office and to help those candidates and their campaigns save money, work smarter, and win more often.” Additionally, the group seeks to “advocate for bold leadership on the most important and pressing causes.”

As Fox News Channel points out, however, not everyone in New Jersey was upset by Christie’s choice to stump for a crotchety cartoon duck rather than return home to plow driveways alongside Cory Booker on his ice pegasus:

    I really shocked by this.

A far left website called “Progressive Change Campaign Committee” (there’s your first clue) who’s mission is to “elect bold progressive candidates to federal office….” (your second clue) is critical of a conservative Republican governor.

Hmmm. I would never have suspected such a thing.

More FAUX outrage by the left. Wherever Christie is, it’s not as warm as it is in Hawaii where BO is and I’m quite certain it’s not costing the tax payers a million dollars.

    Stay classy!

At one point, sonar tracking seemed to identify Christie somewhere near Hawaii…but it turned out to be a pod of humpbacks.

Frank is a perfect representation of liberals today and why they got their clocks cleaned on Nov. 2nd. Keep it up, Frankie!

I see the intellectual side of the lefty argument has been introduced.

    Where’s Chris Christie?

    AT THE FUCKING BUFFET!

I do like the Gov. straight talking while getting stuff done. Unlike the GOP jokers in congress, who say one thing to the baggers and get to Washington and start spending like there’s no tomorrow.

    A couple of things here.

    1. As a Christie supporter, he should be back here in Jersey, making sure the useless road crews get the job done. Its quite evident that they need some guidance on getting the snow clear. You would think that clearing snow wouldnt be so difficult. Apparently Im wrong.

    2. It is quite striking how the intellectually devoid lefties will use a persons weight to disparage them. Really? This is all you have? “Christie is a fatass and cant be president.” Maybe the liberals equate being skinny with elitism?

    3. When you call someone who associates with the Tea Parties “tea baggers”, you dont insult them. Tea baggers, by virtue of grammar rules, DO the tea bagging.
Let me explain it this way, in reference to the recent mid-term elections. “Obama was tea bagged by the tea baggers.” Not a very good thing is it? Id rather be a tea bagger than, like Obama and losing Democrats, be a tea baggee.

Yes, we should only elect presidents from Maryland or Virgina to keep the cost down.

Fact: Even a fat ass republican can beat a loony libertard in a race anyday! Chistie proves this daily I love to hear liberals squeal! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykpjFjsEdl4

“Where’s President Obama”? (And I guarantee that his extended family vacation in Hawaii is costing the U.S. taxpayers a lot more than Governor Christie’s vacation in Orlando is costing New Jerseyites.)

  • Yoda002

Just like a Republican don’t do as I do, do as I say.

Republicans go to great lengths to defend their own even when they’re wrong. No Governor, no Lt Governor?

Good Lord, I forgot….New Jersey is the quincentennial “Nanny” state that got an honest grown up in the election for Governor…they don’t know what to do! Gee even New Yorkers threw rocks at their billionaire “let them eat cake” mayor until they found out it was the union’s fault. Anyone check out why the store minders were asleep or, were they union?

  • Georgia999

For crying out loud —this is so assinine !! Dah !! The airports were closed…to the NJ governor, just like they were closed to everyone else.
And the Union bosses tried to push a point by having members SLOW down the snow clean-up on New York City streets to protest budget cuts. Do they realize if it didn’t snow, they wuouldn’t have a job in the first place? Idiots !!!!

My God!!! Snow in New Jersey? Not possible, I am sure no one in the Cities and Counties could possibly know how to take care of this event that has never happened before and wasn’t expected to happen now because Al Gore promised that snow was a thing of the past.
Gov. Christie must go back and open the garage where he is hiding the only snow plow in the state.
