What’s for Dinner? Your Dignity: The Internet Mocks Romney’s Desperation During Trump Dinner
Twitter had some fun at Mitt Romney‘s expense last night as everyone tried to guess what he was really thinking while he had dinner with Donald Trump.
The former Massachusetts governor is in the running for Secretary of State, and he appeared at Trump Tower on Tuesday for a follow-up interview with the President-elect. Afterwards, the two of them met with future White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, and they went out for dinner at a fancy New York spot, Jean-Georges.
As the three ate at the New York restaurant, a photo from the night made the rounds across the Internet:

Trump’s State Department decision has drawn major intrigue, and a lot of people can’t help but remember the relationship he and Romney had with each other only a short time ago. Romney criticized Trump with great force throughout the 2016 election, while Trump returned fire by calling Romney a choke artist for losing to President Obama in 2012.
As a result, the Twitter world came up with some interesting ideas about how Romney feels now that he is forced to put on a happy face and kiss up to the candidate he spoke against for so long:

For his part, Romney addressed the media after dinner and said he thought Trump’s transition was going well.
