Air Force One Misses Approach On Attempted Landing In Connecticut

Air Force One missed its first approach, but landed safely on its second attempt this morning in Connecticut. Weather was blamed for the pilot’s decision not to make the first landing with President Obama and staff aboard. CNN aired audio of the AF1 pilot’s conversation–ever so cool and routine–with the tower in Connecticut. Plans to fly the president from the airport to a graduation ceremony at the Coast Guard Academy onboard Marine One were scrubbed–again for weather–and Mr. Obama made the trip by motorcade.
