BREAKING: Boston Suspect Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev Arrested By Police In Watertown

At approximately 8:45pm ET Friday evening, authorities confirmed that 19-year-old Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev had been taken into custody alive by police in suburban Watertown, Massachusetts. Just 30 minutes after Mass. Governor Deval Patrick had lifted the lockdown on the city, a barrage of gunfire was heard in the Watertown neighborhood where the original gun fight occurred the previous night.

Police surrounded the suspect in a small boat that was positioned in a backyard of a local resident’s house. Another incidence of gun fire was heard nearly an hour after the first round. With the help of a police negotiator, authorities were able to get Tsarnaev out of the boat and taken into custody alive where he will be treating for injuries.
