Cable news ratings, October 20, 2009: Check out the highlights, and see the full ratings below:

• Fox News was #1 during prime time in the A25-54 demographic Tuesday night, as they were in every ratings category. This isn’t the big story – HLN was #2, followed by MSNBC and CNN in 4th. CNN has spent time in 4th in this category a lot recently – 11 of the 12 weekday nights. But HLN surpassing MSNBC here was a surprise. CNN was also 4th in prime time, total viewers.

Bill O’Reilly had the top cable news show last night in both categories for Fox News at 8pmET, and Glenn Beck was #2 in both categories at 5pmET.

Keith Olbermann on MSNBC at 8pmET had the top non-FNC show in both total viewers and the demo.

    yeah, score.

I love the “non-Fox” category — makes me laugh out loud.

They really do dominate and thus the WH call for the liberal media elites yesterday. Two and one half hours spent talking to the liberal gaggle, rather than spending time on figuring out his Afghan strategy.

I guess Keith, Rachel, Gloria et al got their weekly talking points, or some kind of direction to continue to demean republicans and praise the One.

PS: Cheney going to speak out about Obama and Afghan and the lies tthe Obama Team has been spreading about Bush/Cheney not having any Afghan strategy. What was it I heard from a military analyst: “the strategy Obama announced in March was a cut and paste from the strategy he inherited”.

Will the media be bold and report it, or will they be the little puppy dogs. I’m betting on the latter, except FNC of course, who will carry Cheney’s speech live.

That is why they are winning — both sides. Will the others never learn?

CNN in fourth place — bwahahahaha.

Anderson has been boring this week, but these numbers are even worse than I thought they would be. Too much Balloon Boy coverage. Maybe instead of doing his “workouts” in front of the fitness club window he should do it in the studio because his physique is causing more blog buzz than his journalistic “talent” ever has.
