Kasich Targets Hillary in Post-Debate Interview: ‘She’s Brittle, Doesn’t Exude Warmth’

In the media frenzy of the post-debate landscape, MSNBC featured a special edition of Hardball. Host Chris Matthews sat with a variety of the Republican candidates including Ohio Governor John Kasich, who, like others throughout the night, decided to focus some of his attention onto Hillary Clinton. Kasich continued:

“The problem with Hillary — she’s brittle. She doesn’t exude any warmth, it’s just sort of boring… you know this, the Democrats worry about me as a nominee more than they worry about anyone else in the party. I just gotta get through the primaries.”

Recent polls place Kasich ninth in the race for the GOP nomination, which served as the impetus for Donald Trump to rebuke Kasich’s stage position at one point with “That’s why he’s on the end”. While Kasich chatted with Matthews, the Chair of the Republican National Committee Reince Priebus shared his critical views on the role of the debate’s moderators.
