Krauthammer: Trump ‘Loses Either Way’ No Matter What He Decides on Flynn

Charles Krauthammer said tonight that no matter what President Trump‘s decision is on national security advisor Michael Flynn, he “loses either way.”

On Fox’s Special Report tonight, Krauthammer told Bret Baier it’s bizarre how big this has become because really it’s a “cover-up without a crime.”

He didn’t think it was that big of a deal that Flynn spoke with the Russian ambassador about sanctions, but it’s the lying that’s the serious problem.

The White House said today Trump is still evaluating the situation, and Krauthammer thinks that’s because the president still hasn’t made up his mind on what to do.

If he fires Flynn, Krauthammer noted, it doesn’t reflect well on the president because he chose him in the first place. And if he keeps him on, it leaves Vice President Mike Pence hanging.
