Rudy Giuliani: I’ll Be More Likely To Run In 2012 If Sarah Palin Does

Video

Rudy Giuliani has already announced that he’s “considering” a run for president in 2012, but, as he tells Piers Morgan in Monday’s episode of Piers Morgan Tonight, he’ll be much more likely to run if Sarah Palin decides to as well.

Giuliani says that running against Palin would position him as a “moderate Republican” in contrast to Palin’s views. Morgan called him the “acceptable face of the Republican party,” to which America’s Mayor replied, “Well. I don’t know if I’m acceptable. The way I got elected as mayor of New York City was not being acceptable. My slogan was ‘You can’t do any worse.””

He adds that he’s learned from his time campaigning in the 2008 primaries and, this time around, will focus his efforts on winning Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.

And, yup, he talks about the video in which Palin uses the term “blood libel.” Watch the video from CNN:

probably because she’s the only one he’d look smart in comparison too.

  • Harry Flashman

No chance. Like I said before, I don’t even see him getting on the ticket as VP.

Of course, I could be wrong.

Morgan called him the “acceptable face of the Republican party,”

I love it when libs try to tell us who our candidate should be. Of course, that’s why Rudy has NO chance.

Rudy, you and Sarah can run as much as you can, the pair of you are just unelectable for such office.

By the way, I don’t want to here anymore 9/11 story from ya, it’s shameful you have to profit from a disaster like that. Get a life, Mr Guliani.

Like Huckabee, Newt and Santorum, these dudes better just be nice to Cain, Pence, Ryan & Sarah….else they won’t get any lip service on the political trail.

New polling shows Huckleberry beating Obama in Texas, Mitt squeaking by and Sarah winning by only one point, within the margin of error. That’s before the Tollbooth Perry’s education cuts are made. Come on Sarah! Texas needs you.

Well, Bush graduated from an Ivy League School and you guys still call him stupid, so I think your opinion has more to do with your hate of those who think differently than you than actual fact.

  • TeaPartyPatriot

giuliani’s 2008 “campaign” was the most pathetic, incompetent joke of a campaign imaginable. The despicable AMNESTY-JOHN mccain practically had the nomination won (thanks to d-crat leaning “independents” and ILLEGALS) by the time rudy started to actually do something. I certainly would look forward to the comic relief hel’ll provide in 2012 – though, it won’t make any difference to the outcome: the inauguration of our NEW president in Jan 2013, and the taking back of the Senate, in addition to keeping the House in the hands of the American people.

Generally speaking, Michelle-in-Utah considers a college degree a blunder and a post-graduate degree a character flaw.

your right he did, but my daddy didn’t pay anyone to coast me through.. so whats your point.. and for the record i don’t “hate” Sarah Palin, she annoys the hell out of me with that voice yes, but hate is such a strong word. She’s entitled to her opinions, and plasters them wherever she can, so she shouldn’t get mad when people present opinions about her. Some of the shit she says comes off as very unintelligent. For instance the whole notes on the hand thing, now I can agree everyone gets nervous when speaking in a crowd, and it wouldn’t have been such a big deal if it was a new speech for her, but the things she wrote were the same BS talking points she says just about every 5 mins, sorry like her or not that comes off as stupid

Governor Neil Abercrombie is facing renewed pressure over Obama’s Hawaiin origins

Pressure was mounting on Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie today amid increasing confusion over whether President Obama was born there.

Abercrombie said on Tuesday that an investigation had unearthed papers proving Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961.

He told Honolulu’s Star-Advertiser: ‘It actually exists in the archives, written down,’ he said.

But it became apparent that what had been discovered was an unspecified listing or notation of Obama’s birth that someone had made in the state archives and not a birth certificate.

And in the same interview Abercrombie suggested that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Barack Obama may not exist within the vital records maintained by the Hawaii Department of Health.

WC in WI, I don’t think you should get your hopes up. The all out politcal assassination of Palin, I fear, has been successful. I honestly believe the left was scared to death of her and weren’t going to rest until they destroyed her. I’m not sure anyone could go through what she has and still be a viable candidate. right… it wouldn’t be so stupid of an argument if most of it wasn’t Bob Dole’s GOP backed bill from then 90′s. Sure let’s just go back to allowing insurance companies to deny policy holders. I will be the first to say the health care bill isn’t perfect. The mandate is too much, they should remove that, but whats frustrating is the GOP doesn’t have a plan to fix it. and this whole 2012 is going to be easy, keep thinking that. You forget the 14 million young adults that voted for Obama in 2010 that didn’t vote in the mid-terms. The Mid-terms which the GOP won by an estimated 5 million votes. Will the outcome be different, who knows, all I’m saying is don’t count your chickens yets.

I didn’t say I’d “abandon” anything, The same Creator who endowed us with with life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is the same Creator who created heaven and earth and through Abraham, Issac, and Jacob and their descendants blessed the entire world by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I’m not forcing this on anybody (God doesn’t force anyone to come to Him against their will).

WCinWI , murf – Good posts. I want to like Rubio , but the jury is still out on him. If you “Scott Brown” me once, shame on you, but if you “Scott Brown” me twice, shame on me.

I like Christie, but I think he’s staying in NJ

Fair enough . Christie problem is he is in a blue state , which I think causes him to pander on certain issues like immigration , which in my opinion, he doesn’t need to .
