Ron Paul Tells Piers Morgan The Contraception Mandate is ‘Silly’

 

The entire galaxy seems to be up in arms about the contraception mandate, and Rush Limbaugh’s subsequent remarks to Sandra Fluke. Meanwhile, Ron Paul told Piers Morgan that the whole debate is “silly.” As an obstetrician-gynecologist, Paul has a degree of expertise on the subject, but rather than address the moral implications — or health impact — his take on the issue was altogether different; predictably, Paul saw it from a government angle.

“I just don’t like the government in this business,” Paul told Morgan. “I’m stronger in believing the market works these things out.” He went on to say, “I think its a rather silly argument about who’s going to get free birth control pills”
