Rosie O’Donnell Launches Into Bonkers Rant Over Colbert, ‘Madman’ Trump’s Health
Rosie O’Donnell launched into a rant against President Donald Trump over the cancellation of Stephen Colbert’s late night show, claiming he’ll “arrest every artist that disagrees with him.”
On O’Donnell’s TikTok on Friday and Saturday, O’Donnell made numerous claims about the president’s health, wildly claiming he suffers from dementia and other issues, of which there is no proof, and claimed that the president was behind Colbert’s cancellation.
CBS announced earlier this week that Late Show will be ending in the coming months, launching conspiracy theories among fans of the liberal host who argue the cancellation is somehow tied up in Paramount’s pending merger with Skydance. Paramount also recently settled a lawsuit Trump had over reporting by CBS. O’Donnell claimed Colbert being cancelled was part of opposition against Trump being “silenced.”
She said:
I think Americans should stand up and say, no way. You’re not going to silence us. You don’t have the right to silence us. You never did. And you never will. We, the people, have the right to speak up against atrocities, which are happening on a daily basis, ICE, his own personal Gestapo — what will it take, America? What will take? He’s gonna arrest every artist that disagrees with him and pretty much every artist does. Whether or not they’re brave enough to say it is another thing.
O’Donnell moved to Ireland shortly after Trump was elected in 2024. The two have a feud that runs all the way back to 2006 when O’Donnell was a co-host on The View and before Trump entered politics. Trump recently claimed on Truth Social that he’s somehow considering stripping O’Donnell of her citizenship.
“Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship. She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!” he wrote.
In her posts, O’Donnell made numerous allegations about Trump’s health, calling him “horrible” and out of control.
“How long do all of the voices against this horrific administration have in terms of their careers and ability to make money? Because this madman, this mentally incapacitated, physically ill, mentally ill man is spiraling out of control,” she said. “His dementia is out of control. He’s horrible.”
