Top Chef, No Reservations and Food Revolution Nominated For Primetime Emmys
The nominations for the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards were announced today, and a few food programs managed to snag some. Specifically, Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution got one, Top Chef recieved three, and No Reservations was awarded four.
Top Chef‘s nods were for “Outstanding Reality — Competition Program”, “Outstanding Cinematography For Reality Programming,” and “Outstanding Picture Editing For Reality Programming.” Unfortunately, Padmas Laksmi‘s sexy, chocolate-licking consideration ad didn’t do the trick and she wasn’t nominated in the Reality Host category.
Jamie will attempt to reclaim his former glory at this year’s awards — Food Revolution was nominated for “Outstanding Reality Program”, which the show won in 2010. No Reservations, another previous Emmy-winner, is up for “Outstanding Nonfiction Program” as well as awards for writing, cinematography and picture editing.
Congratulations to all three shows on their nominations!
