WATCH: Joe Bastianich Liquors Up The Camera Guy On Today
MasterChef judge Joe Bastianich has now joined the ranks of Giada “Luckiest TV Chef Alive” De Laurentiis as one of the food correspondents shuttled to the London 2012 Olympics by The Today Show. He stopped by this afternoon to show off five (FIVE!) day-drinking-friendly signature British beverages we can enjoy at home to get into the Olympic Spirit.
Unfortunately, Savannah Guthrie couldn’t sample all those bevs herself, so she began passing drinks around, namely handing off a tall porter ale to the cameraman who was celebrating his 55th birthday. How nice! He appreciatively smacks his lips after a sip and jokingly lets the camera slip, but it’s all in good fun.
Check out the clip below to discover such fun facts about alcohol (our fave pastime, duh) as why India Pale Ale hops your brains out, why gin, which comes from The Netherlands, has strong British and Indian ties, and what the hell actually comprises Pimm’s Liqueur.
