Ginger Margarita! One of my favorite cocktails and a best seller at all my restaurants. In honor of #NationalMargaritaDay here is the recipe: 1.5 oz Sauza Tres Generaciones Anejo Tequila .5 oz Cointreau .75 oz Ginger-Lime Syrup 1 Lime wedge Rim a rock glass with Salt. In a shaker glass filled with 2/3 ice, add ingredients, cover and shake vigorously. Pour drink into the salt rimmed rock glass, squeeze lime wedge and drop into drink. Ginger Lime Syrup 1 quart peeled and sliced ginger 1 quart fresh squeezed lime juice 1 quart sugar 1 stalk lemongrass smashed and sliced Bring to a boil and puree. Strain, reserve liquid and dry pulp in a 170°F oven. When pulp is dry grind to a powder. Mix powder 50/50 with Kosher salt.
