Megyn Kelly Ridicules ‘Disgraced’ Jeffrey Toobin’s Legal Analysis By Bringing Up His Past…Indiscretion

Megyn Kelly brutally called out Jeffrey Toobin with a reminder of what might be the least proud moment of his career.

Toobin was at the Supreme Court to listen in on the oral arguments about an obstruction law that has been applied to people prosecuted for their activities on January 6, 2021. Associate Justice Clarence Thomas questioned Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar about the use of the law in the past during other protests.

Thomas has been called on to recuse himself from this case because his wife, Ginni Thomas, played a role in the efforts to overturn the 2020 election for former President Donald Trump. Those election lies led directly to rioters storming the Capitol to disrupt the certification of President Joe Biden’s clear victory.

On Twitter/X, Toobin provided his opinion of Thomas’s questioning, as well as the perceived conflict of interest, calling him a “disgrace”:

In oral argument today, Justice Thomas is minimizing the severity of the 1/6 insurrection at the Capitol. Perhaps that’s because his wife was part of the conspiracy. What a disgrace that he’s sitting on this case.

In response, Kelly brought up Toobin’s infamous Zoom incident:

Hi Toobin – fyi you waived your right to use the term “disgraced” about other lawyers when you took your dick out of your pants and jerked off in front of your collleagues [sic]

Back in 2020, Toobin was on a Zoom call with his now-former coworkers at The New Yorker. During a break in the call, Toobin used the time to masturbate, thinking the camera was off. He was suspended and then subsequently fired and put on leave from CNN, where he was a contributor at the time. And when he returned to CNN, he apologized for his “deeply moronic and indefensible” actions.
