Michele Tafoya Shows Off a Note of Praise She Claims She Got from a Flight Attendant — Only She Posted the Exact Same Note Two Years Ago
Former NFL sideline reporter Michele Tafoya posted a years-old photo of a note she claimed she’d received from a very kind flight attendant.
In a tweet posted Tuesday, Tafoya said, “Thank you to the flight attendant who handed this to me in flight.” Included in that tweet was a photo of the note, which read:
On a personal note, I want to thank you for the work you do. I always enjoyed your work with the NFL, but listening to your podcast is wonderful too. Your voice of reason brings me a little hope in what seems like a dark world.
Again, thank you!
There was one problem with that note: Tafoya posted the exact same one over two years ago.
When other X users got wind of it, Tafoya was promptly roasted online for reusing the old photo. That included some of her former sports media colleagues.
“The receipts,” said former ESPN anchor Trey Wingo.
“The welpiest WELP I ever did welp,” writer Sarah Spain said.
Countless others piled on.
Tafoya worked her final NFL game at Super Bowl LVI in 2022. Immediately after, she pivoted to a career in conservative political commentary. She’s since made multiple appearances on the major news networks, providing her takes on a number of issues.
