Alex Jones Claims Top Trump Admin Officials Offered Him a Quid Pro Quo to Get Him to Stop Criticizing the President

Conspiracy theorist and radio host Alex Jones claimed he’s received “a bunch of calls” from people at “the top of the [Trump] administration” asking him what he wants in exchange for backing off his criticism of President Donald Trump.
Jones held a debate on Info Wars with white nationalist Nick Fuentes on Wednesday. Both men have been longtime MAGA champions who have begun to voice criticisms of the president over his handling of the Jeffery Epstein scandal, among other issues. Jones told Fuentes that he has been contacted multiple times by people within the upper echelons of the administration proposing to give him something in exchange for backing off on his critiques.
“I got a bunch of calls the last three weeks, and the calls go like this: ‘What do you want?'” said Jones.
And I’ve never asked for anything. What I want is good policy. I always want to be the outsider. And I’m just like “what do I want?” I want to Make America Great Again. I want America First. So, there’s a real understanding in this administration that “we’re it, we’re in charge, this is the way it is.” And the fact that I get these calls, like top of the administration, and they’re just cut and dry: “what do you want?” and I’m just like “uh-huh.”
Jones has been one of the loudest pro-Trump voices to denounce the administration following the release of a joint DOJ and FBI memo released in early July — which claimed there would be “no further disclosure” in the case of the late convicted pedophile Jeffery Epstein. Jones told his viewers he was physically sick over the news, continuing to call for further disclosure as the Epstein controversy intensified.
The InfoWars host even clapped back at the president directly, telling Trump “you’re not the pope, bro” in response to the president saying he didn’t want the support of those who continued to call for the DOJ files on Epstein to be released.
After accusing the administration of trying to bribe him for his support, Jones escalated his attacks on Trump.
“He has become everything he is against,” said Jones.
