‘Completely Out of Touch’: Candace Owens Rips Trump Over Attack On Tucker Carlson
MAGA world podcaster Candace Owens tore into President Donald Trump this week over his support for Israel’s recent preemptive attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities. Owens took to X to express her anger at the president and called him “out of touch” for attacking fellow traveler Tucker Carlson on Monday.
On Tuesday, Owens dropped an episode of her YouTube show and again sounded off on Trump. She lamented that “MAGA was a war on neocons,” and the “neocons won!”
“Donald Trump just completely fractured his base. And he did it for the very neocons who minted the #NeverTrump movement. Truly unbelievable,” Owens wrote on X Monday in reply to Trump slamming Carlson.
She later took another swipe at Trump for discounting the power of online influencers, like herself. “Trump is now mocking Tucker for not being on TV,” she wrote in reply to an article on Trump shading Carlson for having lost his show, adding:
“I don’t know what Tucker Carlson is saying. Let him go get a television network and say it so that people listen” he says.
Completely out of touch and ironic given the fact that podcasters won Trump the election.
Owens later followed that post up with another arguing that the domestic crackdown on critics of Israel was part of a plan to silence the opposition ahead of Israel’s attack on Iran.
“They tried to redefine antisemitism, criminalize criticism of Israel on college campuses, and most crucially, seed the idea that the declaration of Christ as our King amounted to hatred against Jews. All of this was done in preparation for the “Greater Israel” agenda, regarding which they attempted to emotionally manipulate Americans to accept,” she wrote, adding:
The conspiracy theorists were right again. It was always about a planned war with Iran and a doomed, heretical belief that mass slaughter of women and children is messianic.

She ended her wild screed, concluding, “Netanyahu is of the synagogue of Satan. Every war he demands in congress ends with the mass slaughter of Christians. He is no more “God’s chosen” than Henrik Yagoda or Vladimir Lenin was before him.”
Owens, who has been widely accused of promoting anti-Semitic tropes and Holocaust-era revisionism, has also been highly critical of Israel’s war against Hamas in recent months.
On Monday, she co-hosted her show with Ian Carroll – another MAGA influencer who has been accused of pushing anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.
While also denouncing Trump for his actions in support of Israel, Carroll told Owens, “And to be fair, like, let’s be real. These wars are not planned by Bibi and by Trump. These wars are planned by bankers, and they’re planned by neocons and the permanent government.”
“And they’re planned by tech executives and by the executives at the war machine. Like these wars are planned by much bigger interests than just the president and the prime minister of Israel. And so the movements to get this war in place had been going on for years, right?” he added, striking a conspiratorial tone. Owens’s conversation with Carroll was watched over 1.1 million times in the first day after it was published.
