Fox’s Brian Kilmeade Says FBI ‘in Disarray’ While Investigating Charlie Kirk Killing
Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade declared the FBI may be “in disarray” as the agency investigates the fatal shooting of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk in Utah.
Kilmeade remarked after the FBI released new footage of the alleged assassin scrambling across a roof and jumping down to the ground before escaping.
Despite the new evidence, Kilmeade pointed to what looks like trouble in the bureau.
“The FBI seems to be in somewhat disarray,” Kilmeade told co-hosts Lawrence Jones and Ainsley Earhardt. “My goodness, it looks like Kash Patel said, ‘I have been trying to get a picture. You have not sent me a picture for 12 hours.’ And it looks like they might just be — I don’t know if these guys are not getting along at the bureau level.”

AINSLEY EARHARDT: There were pictures online people saying this guy. Talking with Charlie Kirk and having a debate back and forth. If that’s the same guy, he would be easily found. The name would be easily found on social media. But he’s wearing, you can see this long sleeve T-shirt with an American flag and looks like an eagle maybe on it with that dark hat. His wrap around sunglasses. And he, in some of these pictures of him walking up these stairs, look, is he holding — it looks like he is holding the handle, the railing, which maybe they could recover fingerprints.
KILMEADE: You would think. So and the other thing to keep in mind, too is that the FBI seems to be in somewhat disarray. My goodness, it looks like Kash Patel said, “I have been trying to get a picture. You have not sent me a picture for 12 hours.” And it looks like they might be — I don’t know if these guys are not getting along at the bureau level, but that’s probably why Dan Bongino and Kash Patel flew out. did their own investigation and hold their own press conference, it was delayed about 8 or 9 hours. This thing didn’t happen until the 9:00 hour. And then when they did it, they didn’t nail anybody. “We got additional pictures. Check out this footage. In real time are we seeing people in the FBI who just want to do their own thing and don’t want to accept new leadership and is it hurting this investigation?
EARHARDT: Well, I was impressed with the FBI for getting footage out quickly.
KILMEADE: Tell the director. The director says you better cooperate with me. I bet you he doesn’t hop on a plane if they were cooperating.
Despite the suspicion of disorganization among the feds, President Donald Trump later announced to Kilmeade, Jones, Earhardt, and America that the suspected shooter is in custody.
