‘Great News for America!’ Trump Absolutely Revels in Kimmel Suspension — Pushes NBC to Axe Jimmy Fallon Next

Despite a five-hour time difference in the UK, news of Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension got to President Donald Trump before he fell asleep Wednesday night — and he wasted little time celebrating.

In a post to Truth Social just after 1 a.m Thursday London time, the president rejoiced over the news — though he claimed the show was “CANCELLED,” as opposed to the indefinite suspension announced by ABC.

“Great News for America: The ratings challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED,” Trump wrote. “Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done. Kimmel has ZERO talent, and worse ratings than even Colbert, if that’s possible.”

Trump and Kimmel have feuded for years — with the president being a constant target of Kimmel’s monologues, while Trump has repeatedly ripped the ABC late night host and called on the network to dump him.

Earlier Wednesday, Trump’s FCC chair Brendan Carr threatened ABC to suspend or fire Kimmel, or face consequences from the FCC.

“Frankly, when you see stuff like this, I mean look, we can do this the easy way or the hard way,” Carr told Benny Johnson. “These companies can find ways to change conduct and take action, frankly, on Kimmel, or there’s going to be additional work for the FCC ahead.”

After celebrating Kimmel’s suspension, Trump turned his focus on late night hosts Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers — calling on NBC to oust them as well.

“That leaves Jimmy and Seth, two total losers, on Fake News NBC,” Trump wrote. “Their ratings are also horrible. Do it NBC!!!”
