MTG Gets Conspiratorial About Trump Officials Living in Military Digs: ‘What Do They Know??’

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) got conspiratorial when comedian and pundit Bill Maher brought up the Trump officials who have been moving in to military housing, asking “What do they know that I don’t know?”

On Friday night’s edition of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, the interview guest was Dan Farah, writer, producer, and director of the documentary “The Age of Disclosure.”

The panel guests were Michael Moynihan, co-host of “The Fifth Column” podcast and host of interview series “The Moynihan Report”; and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Republican congresswoman representing Georgia’s 14th district.

During the panel segment, Maher asked about the high-profile figures — Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem,  Secretary of State Marco Rubio, White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, and others  — who are living on military bases:

BILL MAHER: OK, but I read this week that a number of the members of the administration are now living on a military base. What? You didn’t know this?

REP. MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE (R-GA): Nope.

BILL MAHER: Oh, yeah. Stephen Miller just moved there. Kristi Noem lives on a militarily base. J.D. Vance. Oh, no, no. Rubio. Pete Hegseth. I mean, for people who love America so much, they seem to be scared of it.

REP. MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE (R-GA): I’m one of those people they call a conspiracy theorist when I hear things like that. I’m like, what do they know that I don’t know? (HUSHED LAUGHTER)

BILL MAHER: Well (LAUGHS) I don’t think it’s– it’s in the paper. But I don’t know.

What do you think about this? Trump says he’s going to resume nuclear testing.

Bad idea would be my first reaction. Nuclear testing is very bad for the atmosphere. John F. Kennedy dealt with this a long, long time ago and said, look, we all breathe the same air. And we do. We don’t want it full of nuclear testing. I guess sometimes they do it underground.

But it’s still, I don’t know why we have to do it and why we to test it. Is this something that has reached your desk in the Congress?

REP. MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE (R-GA): Not yet, but I’ll tell you I would vote no to that. I’m very much against nuclear testing I’m, very much, against nuclear war and I think everyone in history knows what happened to Japan After nuclear bombs were dropped there and I I think that world peace is the most important thing that we can strive for.
