Pro-Trump Republicans Heap Blame On Trump During Aftermath Of Jan 6 Attack In Devastating Viral Video

A video shared on X (formerly Twitter) on the third anniversary of the January 6 attack on the Capitol shows Republicans who today continue to support Donald Trump calling him out in no uncertain terms as directly responsible for the violent riots.

“They knew Trump was responsible for the violence three years ago,” the caption on the video reads. “They should be saying it today.”

The clip was created by the Republican Accountability PAC and shared on social media channels Saturday on the third anniversary of the January 6 Capitol Insurrection.

The ad features Republicans Sen. Mitch McConnell, Sen. Ted Cruz, Sen. Lindsey Graham, Rep. Kevin McCarthy, and Rep. Mike Gallagher speaking in the immediate aftermath, each pointing the finger at Trump and his rhetoric for the events of that day.

It was one of two videos the PAC pushed out on Saturday that picked up steam on X and Instagram.

The third anniversary of January 6 is also getting extensive coverage on cable news, and previously unseen videos were released on Saturday with surprising new footage.
