President Donald Trump tore into MSNBC in a scathing social media post directed at the network soon to be rebranded as MS NOW — with the commander in chief calling it “a failure by any name.”
Posting to Truth Social in all-caps just after midnight Thursday, Trump said MSNBC sought the rebrand ‘TO GET AWAY FROM THE STENCH OF THEIR FAKE NEWS PRODUCT.”
He also blasted Comcast CEO Brian Roberts and said the parent company is “HOPELESSLY AND AIMLESSLY FLAILING IN THE WIND.”
MSNBC IS DOING SO POORLY IN THE RATINGS THAT THEY ARE LOOKING TO CHANGE THEIR NAME IN ORDER TO GET AWAY FROM THE STENCH OF THEIR FAKE NEWS PRODUCT. SO MUCH FUN TO WATCH THEIR WEAK AND INEFFECTIVE OWNER, “CONCAST,” HEADED BY DOPEY BRIAN ROBERTS, HOPELESSLY AND AIMLESSLY FLAILING IN THE WIND IN AN ATTEMPT TO DISASSOCIATE ITSELF FROM THE GARBAGE THAT THEY CREATED! MSNBC IS A FAILURE BY ANY NAME!!!

MSNBC unveiled its new name and logo earlier this week as it spins off from NBC Universal, ditching the peacock entirely.
“During this time of transition, NBCUniversal decided that our brands require a new, separate identity,” said Mark Lazarus, the CEO of Versant, the new parent company of MSNBC and CNBC. “This decision now allows us to set our own course and assert our independence as we continue to build our own modern newsgathering operation.”
The move has been met with mixed reactions, with those at MSNBC welcoming the rebrand, while some critics panned it as a fundraiser for multiple sclerosis.
