WATCH: Reporter Comically SCREAMS At Biden As He Boards Air Force One After Hunter Indictment

As CNN anchors expectantly awaited, a reporter comically screamed at President Joe Biden as he boarded Air Force One — his first appearance before reporters since First Son Hunter Biden was indicted a second time.

Department of Justice Special Counsel David Weiss handed down a nine-count indictment against Hunter Biden Thursday on federal tax charges in a case that will be presided over by Trump-appointed Federal District Court Judge Mark Scarsi.

On Friday’s edition of CNN News Central, anchor John Berman was discussing the case with correspondent Katelyn Polantz when Biden’s motorcade pulled up at Joint Base Andrews for Biden’s departure.

As he paused to see if the president would answer questions, a reporter repeatedly screamed to Biden for his “reaction” to — well, she never got a chance to say:

KATELYN POLANTZ: And they aren’t bringing a foreign lobbying case or anything that would amount to what the House wants there to be, what House Republicans want, some sort of indication of bribery or political malfeasance. It just isn’t fair.

JOHN BERMAN: So what does that tell you, Counselor Jeremy? And again, as we’re watching President Biden shortly get off Marine One here, we’ll listen in very carefully to see if he faces any questions.

Actually, let’s pause for one minute here. He’s headed to Nevada for a campaign trip and also for an infrastructure event. These are the places where occasionally reporters and members of the White House pool can get questions to the president of the United States. Sometimes presidents, including President Biden, choose to answer them.

REPORTER: MR. PRESIDENT!

JOHN BERMAN: Plenty of times they don’t.

REPORTER: MR. PRESIDENT! MR. PRESIDENT! YOUR REACTION?

JOHN BERMAN: All right. That’s a hard pass from the president of the United States, Joe Biden (laughs) a hard pass on answering questions. The reporters, as far as we could tell, didn’t even get to the question. They were just trying to get his attention to ask a question. President Biden choosing not to answer anything about his son, Hunter, at least today. Jerry.

It’s a safe bet she wasn’t going to ask about the jobs report.
