Former Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale will turn over his phone records to the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot following a subpoena.

Parscale revealed to The Daily Beast on Wednesday that he received a notice of a subpoena from his phone service carrier for records from November 2020 to January 2021 and agreed to abide by it. Parscale told The Daily Beast Wednesday that he has will be transparent.

He said, “I had nothing to do with Jan. 6… I have zero to hide.” He also signaled that he is still loyal to his former boss, and theorized that the committee might be attempting to test that loyalty.

Parscale said, “All of this makes me think they want me to turn on [Donald Trump].”

The former Trump campaign advisor did not divulge if he intends to testify before the committee, or if he has been asked to do so. Lawmakers have not issued any comments about the reported subpoena.

Parscale was demoted from campaign manager to digital director last July during a major shakeup just four months before the 2020 election. He was replaced by deputy campaign manager Bill Stepien, who managed the campaign over the final stretch.

After Parscale was arrested in Florida last September following an alleged domestic dispute with his wife, he resigned from Trump’s campaign. He told the Daily Mail a week after the election that he wanted to leave politics behind and live a quiet life selling luxury real estate.

He said, “I want to go back to being nobody. I’m going to flip houses like I used to. I obviously have talent at this and I have made money finding gems.”

It isn’t clear if Parscale remained in the orbit of Trump or those who worked on his campaign following his high-profile resignation. He was hired as an adviser on Caitlyn Jenner’s unsuccessful gubernatorial bid in California’s September recall election, which Gov. Gavin Newsom won in a landslide.
