‘God Does Not Celebrate’ The ‘Death of Children’: Marjorie Taylor Greene Hammers Mark Levin, Accuses Him of Trump ‘HATE’
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) slammed Fox News’ Mark Levin for his supposed opposition to the ceasefire between Iran and Israel.
Shortly after the United States joined the conflict by bombing key nuclear facilities in Iran, Trump announced that he brokered a temporary truce between the two nations. In response to news of the conflict ending, Levin publicly voiced his disdain for the word “ceasefire.”
Speaking on The Tucker Carlson Show, Greene and Carlson went back and forth criticizing Levin for his stance. Greene also accused Levin of displaying “hate” toward the president:
GREENE: Now, what Mark Levin is saying, that he hates the word ceasefire, that is his attack on President Trump. That’s him putting the ultimate disapproval — hate — on what President Trump has done and that we are all so thankful and happy for. Peace is the ultimate thing that we should pursue at all times — peace at all times — because it’s good for every every country and every single people; but Mark Levin hates it.
CARLSON: Well, peace is also the purest expression of strength. And I’m not, resurrecting the whoriest quote of all — “Peace through strength” from Reagan. You know, there’s truth in that. But peace is a byproduct of strength. When you have a strong father in the home, you’ve got strong parents, the kids get along. You got some flaky Xanax-head running the house, the kids are out of control. There’s chaos, there’s fighting. Like, strength brings peace. Dad’s home — knock that shit off.
GREENE: Love that.
CARLSON: Yeah, but that’s just, that’s a principle that never changes. It’s just funny that there are people — I just can’t get past it. I think it’s important to say it because you want your country to be good. You want its leaders to be good. You don’t always have to agree with them. But if their main goal is to kill people, if they don’t have any problem watching Randy Fine — who’s a member of Congress, I guess, from Florida elected–
GREENE: Newly elected. Barely got elected, by the way, in a very red district.
CARLSON: In a very red district.
GREENE: Very red district.
CARLSON: But Randy Fine, someone sent him — this is when I got off social media. I’m not I’m looking at it anymore because it’s disgusting; but somebody sent him a picture of literally of a dead child, and he’s like, “That’s great.”
GREENE: Oh my goodness, that’s the most horrible thing ever.
CARLSON: But how can someone like that strengthen the Congress?
GREENE: I have no idea. They shouldn’t be in Congress.
CARLSON: What god is he worshipping? He’s constantly talking about God.
GREENE: Not my God, not your God.
CARLSON: What god wants that?
GREENE: Nobody, no god. Well, there is no god but God, and our God does not want anyone to celebrate a dead child.
