‘It’s Not Misleading — It’s a F–king Lie!’ Tommy Christopher Torches Trump Conspiracy Coverage

Mediaite editor Tommy Christopher torched coverage calling President Donald Trump’s “treason” accusation against former President Barack Obama “misleading,” asserting it should be referred to as “a fucking lie!”

In a move that Trump himself has posed as a rejoinder to questions about Jeffrey Epstein and the “Epstein Files,” Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard held a briefing at the White House this week to promote the baseless and discredited conspiracy theory.

On Friday’s edition of The Dean Obeidallah Show, Christopher went off on a rant to host Dean Obeidallah in which he complained about outlets that took the time to debunk the attack but referred to it as “misleading” instead of using stronger terms:

TOMMY CHRISTOPHER: What’s really been pissing me off. I mean, you guys talk about Fox News, and I mean I try not to get that mad about Fox anymore because what are you gonna do? Right, it is what it is. It is what is is, you know?

…But like CNN and fucking like regular news organizations, Trump brought out this bullshit Barack Obama thing, the, like, treason thing to distract from this, okay?

And everybody is busy tearing it down, debunking the living shit out of it. But I keep seeing people on CNN, people like the Washington Post saying, these claims by Tulsi Gabbard are “misleading.”.

How the fuck is it misleading and not a lie? It’s a total fucking lie! You can’t say, oh, well, you know what, the fact that Barack Obama is guilty of something for which he should be executed, eh, that’s a little misleading. No, it’s a fucking lie!

Because there’s no fucking gray area. It’s like, um, excuse me. But I just don’t understand, I don’t even understand, what are they hanging that on?

Because what she’s saying is he committed treason, and the thing that she’s saying is treason is a thing that their report never even said.

I mean, you don’t have to take my word for it, but take the word from the people who are saying misleading are explaining it and describing a lie!

And I don’t know why the fuck they do it. Maybe it’s because they’re so gun-shy about Trump getting people fired and these fucking lawsuits, but it’s a lie, okay? It’s a– Barack Obama did not commit treason. He did not engage in a coup or whatever whatever else it is.

Everything that that Tulsi Gabbard is like “revealing” is shit that everybody already knew and there’s no conflict there’s no–.

And the biggest part is… They just get to sit there and say, oh, there was no preference for Trump when their own fucking guys concluded that. And nobody disputes that except them.

So if I could say anything, CNN, anybody, I hate to just crack, but anybody, and I bet you MSNBC didn’t do it, but anyone in a supposedly legitimate mainstream news organization who called that fucking shit misleading needs to be, like, I’d say, I don’t know, fired or like–.
