Joe Rogan and Tim Dillon Roast Fawning Over Katy Perry and All-Female Space Flight: ‘They’re All Profoundly Different Now’
Joe Rogan and Tim Dillon roasted people fawning over the all-female Blue Origin space flight, including from the celebrity crew like Katy Perry.
Rogan was joined by fellow comedian Tim Dillon on the latest episode of The Joe Rogan Experience and the pair took turns cracking each other up while taking their best shots at the Blue Origin flight.
The space flight crew included Perry, Gayle King, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen, Kerianne Flynn, and Lauren Sanchez, the wife of billionaire Blue Origin owner Jeff Bezos.
“What were they up there, 10 minutes?” Dillon asked about the flight.
“Well, it was very profound. I don’t know if you’ve seen Katy Perry talk about it, but she’s basically a guru now,” Rogan said.
“What were her findings? That’s my question. What did she learn?” Dillon asked.
“Well, she brought a daisy, which was super important. It shows you how quick the flight was, the dead daisy that’s snipped from its life source was still alive, was still vibrant,” Rogan responded.
When Dillon noted the short time frame of the flight, Rogan chimed in again, “Let’s not minimize this. Let’s celebrate female astronauts.”
Dillon argued there are actual female astronauts more worthy of praise, including Suni Williams, who was one of two recently-returned NASA astronauts who could not return home for nine months due to technical issues with their spacecraft. As Rogan noted the toll such a long period in space has on the body, Dillon said, “These bitches seem fine though, these ladies.”
“Well, for now. Let’s not minimize this,” Rogan sarcastically said. “Let’s not minimize the sacrifice they’ve made for a great nation, for the world, in fact. They’re profoundly different now.”
“Well, it’s inspiring,” Dillon said.
“That’s what I’m saying,” Rogan added.
