Biden Jokes That Running for President Would Be ‘Bad’ for His Golf Game

It’s 2014, which means that everyone is looking for the signs of presidential ambition in the actions of the Chosen Few. Vice President Joe Biden just added fuel to their search with recent comments to Irish Taoiseach Enda Kenny after the Irish leader invited the vice president to play a round of golf with him in Ireland.

According to CNN, Biden replied, “If you want to keep your handicap in golf don’t run for President. So I expect strokes.”

At this point, predicting presidential candidacies is a bit like staring into tea leaves and expecting to discover the Higgs Boson. Regardless, we learned today that Kenny calls golf clubs “golf sticks,” which is a better name for golf clubs.
