‘I’m Michael Jordan’s Son!’ Body Cam Footage Shows Marcus Jordan Name-Dropping His Dad Before DUI Arrest

Body cam footage obtained by TMZ showed Marcus Jordan — the son of sports icon Michael Jordan — name-dropping his father before being arrested for drunk driving.

Early Tuesday morning, Marcus was driving a Lamborghini SUV in Maitland, Florida, when he got it stuck on train tracks. When police arrived, Marcus — who was accompanied by a woman — asked for help. When the officers realized the car was stuck on the tracks, they asked Marcus how the pair found themselves in that predicament.

“We thought we were making a right, and I fucking turned onto the train tracks, apparently,” Marcus said while surrounded by officers outside the SUV. When they informed him he wouldn’t be getting back behind the wheel and started to pat him down, he mentioned his father.

“Bro, I’m Marcus Jordan,” he said. “I’m Michael Jordan’s son. I’m not doing anything wrong. I’m just trying to get home and I made a wrong turn, OK? And clearly, we would just like to get our car off of the fucking train tracks, which we were not trying to be on.”

The footage then skipped to a later moment when Marcus once again told the officers that he just needed help getting off the tracks. Then, an officer told Marcus he had concerns about the state he was in because he smelled alcohol. Marcus argued he was fine and that he only turned onto the tracks because he wasn’t familiar with the area.

After failing field sobriety tests, Marcus was arrested. While searching him, police found a small bag containing a white substance that tested positive for cocaine.

Marcus was charged with DUI crash with property damage, possession of cocaine, and resisting an officer without violence.
