WATCH: NBA Referees Make Parody Video Using Jack Harlow’s Song In Response To Viral Video

Over the weekend, a video of NBA referees Scott Foster and Ed Malloy not knowing who rapper Jack Harlow was during an NBA playoff game went viral, causing a whirlwind of laughter and jokes at the expense of the officiating crew.

Well, those same refs got their revenge Wednesday — posting a parody clip using Harlow’s hit “Nail Tech” to their Twitter account, making a shortened music video of the officials singing the song.

“We would like to refute SportsCenter’s claim that we don’t know you,” NBA Referees’ official Twitter account wrote, putting the video in the same thread as Harlow’s initial reply to the name-game blunder.

To be honest, I didn’t think the NBA refs had it them, especially with Scott Foster — one of the league’s more controversial officials — leading the charge in the parody.

The clip went viral, obviously, as Harlow offered up a response of his own Wednesday night, not totally impressed with the rendition.

Regardless, nice to see Foster and the other NBA officials have a little fun and liveliness with the blunder, usually sucking the life out of NBA playoff games.
