ABC News’ David Muir Gets Exclusive Interview with Apple CEO Tim Cook

ABC World News Tonight anchor David Muir scored an exclusive interview with Apple CEO Tim Cook that aired tonight, following the tech company’s release of New Shiny Objects For You To Drool Over (more technically, the iPhone 6, the iPhone 6 Plus, Apple Pay, and the Apple Watch).

Muir got a behind-the-scenes look at the big keynote event today, showed the audience going wild at the mere mention of the phrase “one more thing,” and got to speak with Cook about all these cool new gadgets. Muir asked Cook if, with the announcement of the digital service Apple Pay, he feels he’s killed the credit card. Cook said, “I think we put a dagger in it.”

Muir also brought up the hacking of celebrity nude photos (believed to be mostly through Apple’s iCloud storage service) and asked about security concerns with all this information being on one device. Cook assured, “I feel incredibly certain that it’s very secure, the most secure thing out there.”

In another ABC News video, Muir and Cook also talked about the Apple Watch and how much more you can do with your wrist nowadays (get your mind out of the gutter).
