Ainsley Earhardt Asks Melania Trump Where She ‘Will Be Spending the Most of Her Time’ During Second Term
Rarely has the living situation of an incoming First Lady been a news item, but Ainsley Earhardt asked Melania Trump where she plans to spend her time in the second Trump term.
The once and future First Lady sat with the Fox & Friends co-host to discuss several topics, namely an eyebrow-raising $40 million documentary focused on her return to the White House licensed by Jeff Bezos and Amazon. Portions of the interview were aired across the three hours that Fox & Friends airs, and in this portion, Earhardt presses the First Lady on where she plans to live during the next four years.
“And where will you be spending most of your time in the White House? Palm Beach. Here in New York?” she asked.
“I will be in the White House,” she replied. “And you know, when I need to be in New York, I will be in New York; when I need to be in Palm Beach, I will be in Palm Beach.”
“But my my first priority is, you know, to be a mom, to be a first lady, to be a wife,” she added. “And once we’re in on January 22nd, you serve the country.”
It may seem odd at first blush for someone to ask the First Lady where she plans to live, but Eahardt’s question was entirely salient given multiple reports that have suggested that Ms. Trump may not join her husband in the White House during his second term.
