Arnold Schwarzenegger, Citing Trump, Says He Won’t Return to Celebrity Apprentice

Arnold Schwarzenegger has said in a new interview that he will not be returning to Celebrity Apprentice, specifically citing the President of the United States as a reason why.
The New York Times has obtained this statement from Schwarzenegger:

And Schwarzenegger himself spoke to Empire and explained that, yes, the association with President Trump played a part in his decision. He said a lot of people told him they love the show but “turned it off because as soon as I read Trump’s name I’m outta there.”
He simply feels that it’s too divisive a project for him to work with right now:
Even if asked [to do it again] I would decline.” Said Schwarzenegger. “With Trump being involved in the show people have a bad taste and don’t want to participate as a spectator or as a sponsor or in any other way support the show. It’s a very divisive period now and I think this show got caught up in all that division.
Schwarzenegger feuded with Trump briefly after the president took a swipe at his ratings, which were somewhat weak during the season.
