Bernie Sanders: Trump’s Wrong, I Don’t ‘Hate’ Hillary Clinton

Donald Trump has been saying recently that Bernie Sanders “hates” Hillary Clinton, so Chris Hayes tonight asked Sanders if that’s true.

“He has read my mind, what a man, what a genius,” Sanders said. “The answer’s, of course, you know, Trump is lying as he always does. No, I do not hate Secretary Clinton.”

Despite his harsh criticisms of Clinton, Sanders said he’s known Clinton for many years and simply just disagrees with her.

Sanders also dismissed the idea that he and Trump are allies on trade, given Trump’s business dealings.
