Chris Christie Making Cameo Appearance Tonight on NBC’s The Michael J. Fox Show
Sure, Chris Christie may have decisively won his reelection on Tuesday, but undoubtedly the real honor of this week is the New Jersey governor sharing screentime with Michael J. Fox on the aptly-named Michael J. Fox Show, having some fun with all the 2016 media frenzy buzzing around him.
Fox plays a famous local New York newscaster back at work, and his character Mike Henry dozes off on-camera just as Christie is about to make a big announcement about his political aspirations.
Christie has previously appeared on SNL and in a musical capacity of sorts on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
When Christie’s guest spot was announced in July, Star-Ledger reporter Jenna Portnoy wondered whether Christie’s embracing pop culture too much to the detriment of his reelection campaign.
Apparently not.
