Chris Wallace: Dem Chatter on Russia Has ‘A Little Bit of a Feeling of Payback for Benghazi’

Chris Wallace said on this morning’s Fox News Sunday that the Democrats’ rhetoric about potential Russian hacking sounds a little like “payback for Benghazi.”

“It does have a little bit of a feeling of payback for Benghazi,” he said, “that the Republicans spent… all these years going after Hillary Clinton on Benghazi and sure enough the Democrats… maybe they’re gonna try to politicize this issue of whether Donald Trump is there with the aid and assistance of the Russians.”

WaPo writer Charles Lane added that it’s important to distinguish between Russian interference and Russian interference that completely changed the election results.

During his sitdown with Donald Trump, Wallace asked him about the intel conclusions on Russia and Trump flatly said he doesn’t believe it.
