Chris Wallace to Kasich: Why Did You Skip Out on the Debate Fox Planned?

John Kasich appeared on Fox News Sunday this morning and Chris Wallace made sure to ask him why he dropped out of the debate Fox had planned for tomorrow.

Fox News announced the details of the debate last week, and Donald Trump very quickly said he’s out. But what surprised many was Kasich’s decision to drop out too, leading to the debate being cancelled.

Wallace showed Kasich video of Charles Krauthammer just days ago commenting on how odd it is Kasich has whined at every debate about not getting enough time and then drops out of this one. Kasich said, “I’m disappointed to hear Charles say that.”

He explained, “I’m not gonna go to a debate where we don’t have everybody involved in the race involved in the debate.”

Kasich also said that he’s never really thought the debates “were the best way to pick a president” anyway.
