CNN’s Dana Bash: Trump Defending O’Reilly is ‘Completely Inappropriate’

CNN’s Dana Bash was not exactly thrilled with President Donald Trump’s comments about the sexual harassment allegations against Fox News’s Bill O’Reilly.

“You know, talk about the education of Donald Trump becoming president,” she said. “Don’t talk about Bill O’Reilly and a sexual harassment suit… when you know nothing about the context and the content of what those suits are. Okay, it’s nice that he’s a loyal friend. It’s nice that they’ve known each other for years and years, and he’s coming to his defense. But he’s the President of the United States and to say that, no matter how nice he’s been, is completely inappropriate.”

Other panelists noted that this was seemingly “based on nothing” in particular since it’s doubtful Trump is familiar with the specifics of every single allegation.
