CNN’s Tapper: Didn’t Pence Create ‘Alternate Reality Version of Donald Trump’?
CNN’s Jake Tapper confronted Scott Walker today over Mike Pence repeatedly trying to gloss over all the controversial things his running mate has said.
As Tapper pointed out, that Pence repeatedly denied Trump said things “that Donald Trump did say.”
He showed a clip of Pence denying Trump said something about nukes, followed by the relevant clip of Trump, yes, saying that very thing about nukes.
Tapper told Walker this happened a bunch of different times and asked, “By denying that Trump said things that he said, didn’t he kind of create an alternate reality version of Donald Trump?”
Walker insisted that Pence was just trying to contextualize the attacks Tim Kaine threw out.
