CNN’s Tapper: Why Can’t Clinton Just Hold Presser to Finally Address All Email Questions?

CNN’s Jake Tapper confronted Hillary Clinton supporter Senator Barbara Boxer this afternoon over why Clinton can’t just set up another press conference to clear up all lingering questions about her emails.

Boxer said it’s time to move on from this after the FBI’s release of their Clinton interview notes.

Tapper offered this suggestion for the Clinton camp if they want to move on:

“If Secretary Clinton and her supporters like you want to move on and change the subject, wouldn’t a good idea for her be to have a press conference and take questions on this? It’s been more than 270 days since she had a press conference. Why not have a press conference, answer these questions, and maybe the press will move on?”

Boxer disputed what he said and argued that she’s taken plenty of questions recently on the matter.

The last time Clinton held a full press conference on her emails was March 2015.
