Corey Feldman Wants $10M for a Tell-All Hollywood Pedophilia Documentary
Amidst the current rash of disgusting allegations of sexual harassment and assault surrounding the television and film industries, there has been a predicable focus on what some see as an immoral industry filled with powerful bullies and victims cowed with fear. Enter former child actor Corey Feldman, a long-time accuser of systemic Hollywood pedophilia, who sat with TODAY’s Matt Lauer to discuss past and future allegations.
Feldman is now an a self-proclaimed missionary to clean up Hollywood to expose the truth behind his allegations, and recently posted a video called “The Truth Campaign” on YouTube, to promote a crowd-source funding site that seeks to raise $10,000,000 for the production of a documentary. The IndieGogo site reads:
People have long awaited a response from Corey as to what exactly happened in his childhood. In his book, Coreyography, Corey describes what happened but it isn’t clear who exactly the predators are. The best way, he feels, in order to tell the whole story, is for Corey to come forward in the form of a film about his life. We are embarking on a dangerous and exciting journey to get to the bottom of the truth. However in doing so there are great security risks.
$10,000,000 is an enormous budget for even a feature-length documentary, so some skeptics might see this as a way for Feldman to be cashing in on his return to spotlight even if under such awful conditions. That said, Feldman has been a loud and consistent voice calling out what he saw as a child-pedophilia ring in the Hollywood-based show biz industry.
