Cruz to Megyn: Trump Must Find You ‘Terrifying’ to Skip Another Debate

Ted Cruz very eagerly mocked Donald Trump on Fox News tonight for avoiding the now-cancelled debate previously scheduled on Fox for next Monday. The debate was still planned after Trump dropped out, but called off after John Kasich dropped out too.

Cruz began by telling Kelly, “For whatever reason, it seems that Donald Trump finds you a terrifying person.”

He said that it’s clear Trump doesn’t like being challenged and, despite boasting about wanting a one-on-one fight between the two of them, he’s “afraid.”

As far as Cruz is concerned, Trump “thinks the voters can’t figure out that he’s not telling them the truth” and he clearly lacks “a basic modicum of knowledge” about the world.
