Debbie Wasserman Schultz ‘Not Quite Yet’ Ready to Commit to Dem Fox Debate

Hours after reports that Fox News was trying to set up a Democratic debate before the California primary, Fox’s Bret Baier asked DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz about whether they can make it happen.

There haven’t been any debates in a while, Hillary Clinton is all but guaranteed to be the Democratic nominee, and when there were debates, Wasserman Schultz was getting criticism for not exactly going out of her way to promote them.

Baier asked Wasserman Schultz––and not for the first time––about doing a Democratic debate on Fox.

She responded that she’s “not quite yet” ready to comment on that, saying the Democrats are currently conferring with candidates and considering “potential media partners.”

Baier said, “Well, we’d appreciate the consideration.”
