Don Lemon: Was Asking for Attorney Resignations Trump’s Reaction to Hannity’s Call for ‘Purge’?

CNN’s Don Lemon tonight brought up that Jeff Sessions asked for the resignations of all of the U.S. attorneys left over from the Obama administration just one day after Sean Hannity called for a government “purge.”

Last night Hannity talked about Obama holdovers in the government and said it’s time for Trump to “purge these saboteurs.”

And so, Lemon asked, “So coincidence, you think, or is this another example of a president reacting––having a knee-jerk reaction to a right-wing news story?”

John Flannery referred to Hannity as “Trump’s troll” and said, “Those two have been trading information and patting each other on the back since through the campaign.”

On his program tonight, Hannity brought up his remarks from last night and reported on the attorneys news from today by saying, “Today, the Trump administration, they took the first step into purging deep state actors.”
