Eric Trump Hits Obama Over Russian Meddling: ‘Why Did He Do Nothing?’
ERIC TRUMP sounds off on Russia, reveals he doesn’t know what “irony” means:
“What started off as a hoax — you know, Trump won the election because of Russia — has been proven to be nothing further from the truth. And [Dems] ended up finding themselves in this whole irony.” pic.twitter.com/0XQap1zIqq

So let’s get this straight, Eric Trump… it’s been proven that President Donald Trump didn’t win the 2016 election because of Russian meddling, Democrats now have egg on their faces because they tried to insist that was the case, and Barack Obama should have done something about the Russian meddling in the first place, because he knew about it?
That appears to be Eric’s line of argument in his visit to Fox & Friends Monday morning.
“What started off as a hoax – you know, Trump won the election because of Russia – has been proven to be nothing further from the truth,” Eric said. “And [Dems] ended up finding themselves in this whole irony. It’s just kind of amusing.”
“But the Russians being bold enough to meddle has to be stopped,” Brian Kilmeade replied.
“I agree and I wish Obama would have done that,” Trump said. “If he knew, which he clearly did, I wish he would have stopped it. And the big question is: why did he do nothing about it?”
Well, first of all, he did. Second of all, special counsel Robert Mueller‘s indictment of 13 Russians for meddling in the 2016 election neither exonerates nor damns the Trump campaign; it’s merely a step towards discovering the whole truth.
