Ex-Fox Newser Bob Beckel Reemerges on CNN to Talk Trump

Cable news junkies know that Bob Beckel left Fox News recently after dealing with some personal issues, but tonight he reemerged on cable news with a CNN hit.

Yes, in kind of a surreal moment, the man known for years as arguably Fox News’ biggest Democratic voice sat down with Don Lemon tonight to help analyze the presidential race, mostly Donald Trump.

Beckel was absent from The Five for months while in addiction rehab, but in June, Fox News announced the split saying, “We tried to work with Bob for months, but we couldn’t hold The Five hostage to one man’s personal issues.”

Beckel also gave Mediaite a shoutout, and frankly, he gets points for mentioning Mediaite on CNN out of the context of gay pornography.
