Fox News Anchor Delivers Brutal Rebuke of GOP’s Push to Impeach Biden: They’ve Got ‘Nothing’

Fox News anchor John Roberts seemed to express some skepticism over the House Republicans’ push to impeach President Joe Biden, going as far to say there was “nothing to connect” any of their findings to the president.

The impeachment inquiry led by House Republicans was dealt a massive blow when the FBI informant on whom they based their accusations was charged with lying to the FBI about Biden and admitting he was spreading Russian disinformation. This did not stop the House Oversight Committee from continuing their hearings, and Fox News legal editor Kerri Urbahn listed other factors that were at play.

But Roberts told her, flat-out, that there was still “nothing” that she cited that implicated Biden:

But here’s the thing — so they’ve got a lot of receipts with Hunter Biden. They’ve got a bunch of receipts with Jim Biden as well. But so far, there’s nothing to connect all of that to the president in any kind of way that looks like it’s illegal or even potentially unethical. How much longer can this probe go on before the Republicans have to either put up or move on?

Urbahn once again claimed there was more suspicious-looking activity on the part of Hunter Biden and James Biden, and Roberts bluntly concluded: “The bottom line is there’s an awful lot of smoke with this. But if you want to impeach the president, you got to find the fire.”
