Fox News Contributor Launches Into Bizarre Mamdani Impression: ‘Look at How I Eat My Burrito With My Fingers’

Fox News contributor and former Republican congressman Jason Chaffetz launched into a bizarre impression of New York City Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani on The Ingraham Angle, Tuesday, which failed to get even a grin from Ingraham as she watched on in silence.

As the Fox News chyron read, “MAMDANI WANTS YOUR HOUSE” and “COMMIE TAKEOVER IN THE BIG APPLE,” Chaffetz said, “He wants total control, he’s a Marxist, and I think you’re right. Wall Street is gonna move with their feet. The taxes are gonna be exorbitant. The average person isn’t gonna be able to afford things. He’s just like, ‘Hey, let’s put root beer in all the drinking fountains! Everything will be free! Look at how I eat my burrito with my fingers and trust me.'”

Failing to get even a grin out of Ingraham with his impression, Chaffetz continued, “I mean, he’s just– he’s in this fancy package with a bright smile, but that is not gonna fix the problems of New York City. He’s the anti-cop. He doesn’t believe in police.”

Mamdani received backlash from conservatives this week after he recorded a video eating rice with his hands.

“Civilized people in America don’t eat like this,” protested Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX). “If you refuse to adopt Western customs, go back to the Third World.”

Mamdani also received backlash in March after he posted a photo eating a burrito with a knife and fork on the New York City subway.
