Fox News’ Dagen McDowell Appears to Take a Nasty Shot at AOC: ‘Beauty Fades, Stupid is Forever’

The crew assembled for Tuesday’s episode of Outnumbered discussed the alleged split between the establishment Democratic candidates (i.e. Joe Biden) and the more progressive part of the party, best represented by Fox News lightning rod Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).

The discussion was rooted in comments made by AOC which appeared to criticize Biden’s centrist approach to what sees (and many agree) as a direly urgent climate change problem that the former Vice President is ill-suited to address. AOC co-authored the congressional resolution the Green New Deal which has also been a subject of much ridicule on many conservative opinion programs on Fox News…such as Outnumbered.

As the segment wrapped, the “one lucky guy” Juan Williams defended the freshman Democratic Rep, saying “On AOC very quickly the idea that we are all talking about the Green New Deal, environmental policy…that’s her doing.”

Lisa Boothe jumped in and sniped “But as a laughing stock,” to which Fox News contributor (and FBN co-host) Dagen McDowell retorted:

“Beauty fades, stupid is forever.”

Really no way to see that comment other than a dig at Ocasio-Cortez.
