Fox’s Cavuto Brings on a Relationship Expert to Weigh In on Gruber
If you thought cable news had explored every conceivable angle on the Jonathan Gruber story, think again, because Fox News’ Neil Cavuto brought on a psychotherapist and relationship expert to examine the relationship between the White House and the American people over what Gruber said.
After playing a clip from Never Been Kissed (yes, that happened), Cavuto then turned to Karen Ruskin, who called this an “emotionally abusive relationship.” She explained that people tend not to snap out of it and leave the relationship “because we are reliant––we feel controlled by the relationship; in fact, this unhealthy dysfunction shows us time and time again with lies.”
Ruskin told Cavuto all the Obamacare lies are signs of an “unhealthy, dysfunctional relationship that is traumatic.” And sadly, she lamented, “The person who is duped often says, ‘Well, maybe there’s a reason, let me try and make sense of it.'”
So that happened.
